'We were absolutely thrilled to welcome Becca Rogers to our school for an inspiring visit with Years 4, 5 and 6. The children were captivated from the moment the session began. Becca brought her book, The Girl with Gills, to share with children and it came to life with engaging storytelling, interactive discussions, and a chance for the children to share their creative thinking.

The writing workshop was a particular highlight—students left buzzing with ideas and newfound confidence in their creative writing. It was a joy to see even our more reluctant writers eager to put pen to paper. Teachers also appreciated the practical tips and techniques that can be used in the classroom going forward.

This visit has truly sparked a love of reading and writing across the key stage. We would wholeheartedly recommend Becca Rogers to any school looking to inspire and excite their pupils.'
